BXR range of portable TPMS readers
The BXR-LF, BXR-LFB, BXR-LHF, BXR-LHFB are the portable TPM and barcode reading products specifically designed for the Automotive market. They are used in testing and reading TPMs at various stages of the manufacturing and assembly process. These are the only portable readers available on the market to give instant readings. This is particularly important for high throughput applications. All HF models display the current pressure on reading the TPM.
BXR - LF is a basic portable TPM ID reader, which weighs approximately 2 pounds. It activates and reads signals at 125KHz. The TPM ID is displayed on the LCD as a six (6) digit value in a hexadecimal format. This value will be held in the LCD display until cleared out with a new read.
BXR - LHF is a portable TPM ID reader. It activates at 125kHz and reads signals at both 125KHz and 433MHz or 315MHz (Only one UHF frequency is supplied with this model). The TPM ID is displayed on the LCD as a six (6) digit value in a hexadecimal format along with the current tire pressure.
BXR-LHF2 is a portable TPM ID reader. It activates at 125KHz and reads signals at 125KHz and 433 MHz and 315MHz. Through the use of the utilities menu, the operator can select 315MHz or 433MHz.
BXR - LFB is a portable TPM ID reader, with a built in bar code scanner. It activates and reads signals at 125KHz. During the sequence, the TPM ID is displayed on the LCD as a six (6) digit value in a hexadecimal format. It comes pre-programmed with a standard sequence of operations, prompting the operator to scan the VIN and the wheels in a predetermined order (see Rework sequence of operation). The unit is intended to download the VIN and TPM ID's to a plant host computer. The PCS200 Serial Interface Controller would be ordered in conjunction with the BXR-LFB to compliment plant host communications.
BXR - LHFB is a portable TPM ID reader, with the same features as the BXR - LFB but with UHF reading as well as 125KHz.
All models come with Ni-MH batteries, which give the reader a capability of a minimum of 2500 reads without recharging. An RS232 port is standard on all models to permit download of data to a PC or portable computer.
All of the above readers are available with a K-Line interface and connector to allow download of TPM data to an ECU via the vehicle's diagnostic port. To specify these products add a suffix K to the above and call us to discuss the application software you require.
